Kass Poz
In Mauritian Creole, “Kass enn poz” means to take a break, to take it easy.
This local way of life has inspired our new Kass Poz experience, which celebrates the flavours of Chamarel and its surroundings, as well as the sweetness of lingering and taking one’s time.
For tea time, our chefs have reimagined local pastries, incorporating hidden gems from our region for a distinct Chamarel twist: a mocha crafted with the renowned Café de Chamarel, an almond cake elevated with Bel Ombre pineapples, an exquisite chocolate fondant…
But there's more: no afternoon interlude would be complete without our take on the beloved napolitaine, filled with tangy tamarind compote from Case Noyale, and a delicate madeleine infused with lemon and Chamarel honey. This assortment of sweet treats is served with a freshly brewed cup of Café de Chamarel or your choice of tea.

Le Café de Chamarel is a coffee exclusively cultivated in the Chamarel region, just a few kilometers away from the restaurant. Experience the vibrant and intense flavours of this 100% Mauritian coffee through our specially curated menu, designed to bring out its signature aroma and taste.
Be part of the experience thanks to our French press ritual, where the rich and aromatic Café de Chamarel is brewed and served with freshly-made mini-pastries.
For the more adventurous, take a chance and allow our barista to surprise you with a range of signature beverages crafted with this coffee – including creative cocktails and innovative takes on hot, iced, or chilled drinks.
